North County Regional Library is now open to the public, and the Temporary Service Outlet at Birkdale Village is closed, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library said Monday.
The library had been closed since early May for window replacement and other renovations. The work actually is not finished, and will continue through the summer, the library said.
Meanwhile, a “temporary service outlet” that opened at Birkdale Village in Huntersville during the work has now closed.
During the last phase of the renovation, the library is open to the public with some potential noise from the construction work and periods of higher heat or humidity as windows are replaced. It will not need to close again.
